Color Is Important

Screen Prints NFK strives to display as accurately as possible the colors of physical embellishments/decorations on items ordered on the site and at the Screen Prints NFK physical location(s).

Stock Colors

Screen Prints NFK has a wide range of stock, off-the-shelf colors to choose from that cover most color choices made by clients. These can be viewed in-person at the physical location and also online here. There are no additional fees other than the required use of an underbase on colored/dark items when necessary and this probability will be communicated prior to invoicing/online checkout.

Pantone Colors

Screen Prints NFK does its best to make sure the color representation and swatch sample representation is identical to what’s listed in your service order details, however, small shifts and variations in color can and will sometimes occur, and only minutely marginal (if at all) when utilizing Pantone matching as the quality color matching preference when placing your order. Screen Prints NFK makes no claim to perfectly match each color due to standard mixing practices but does accept the liability to remain within 10% of the desired color when the product is finished due to the applications of curing temperatures (heat), light temperatures in various environments, possible and unforeseen chemical reaction from the item being printed on when inks are applied, and item texture. Not all computer monitors/tablets/phones are calibrated the same and colors may display differently on your screen than what is actually printed. If referencing a web color seen on your screen (Hex code), please use an online color converter like this one here. Due to the inconsistencies of various displays (digital or physical), the color you see on your screen may not be a totally accurate reproduction of the actual product. Screen images are intended as a guide only and should not be regarded as absolutely correct. If you require critical control over color hue/tint/shade, please stop by in-person at the Screen Prints NFK physical location to view swatches under various light sources. Sourcing and previewing physical or correctly calibrated digital color samples is the sole responsibility of the client and a non-entitled courtesy on behalf of Screen Prints NFK only if time and opportunity allows. The next option down is picking a Pantone code from a swatch you view on the device of your own choosing and in doing so the client accepts liability for color calibration accuracy when making their code selection and signing off on it. Additionally, inexperience with color harmony is a major issue for some clients when deciding which colors to choose and how they interact with each other. This is normal and completely acceptable initially during a consultation, but occasionally a small percentage of these clients can not be persuaded to modify their perspective and have decided that an irrational pairing “should just work anyway”. It will not.
