The original Virginia-themed tee released in limited quantities at Black Ark Art & Design Studio 12 years ago. This is the base White and Red colorway on Navy 4.5oz 100% ring spun cotton. The design has been updated to Ver. 2 and has several improvements most notably the addition of the Virginia leg of Delmarva (Eastern Shore). The left sleeve has the “001” numbered SPNFK VA SOTM Cardinal Totem logo embroidered in red, exclusive to Nov 2024 Screen Prints NFK Shirt Of The Month subscribers. Non-subscriber garments will have the regular logo. Subscriptions have VA tax included + Free shipping in Virginia.
What is SPNFK VA SOTM?
Each month a custom Virginia-themed tee is designed, printed, packaged, and shipped free to subscribers for a flat $15 a month with larger adult sizes (2XL-5XL) being $20. All subscriptions started on or after the 25th of each month through the 25th of the upcoming month will get the original “VA SOTM 1″ Tee shipped out immediately with the next tee shipping on the following 1st. For Example: this means if you start June 12th, you get the introductory VA tee and your next tee will be the new July 1st-5th release. If you start June 28th, you get the introductory VA tee and the upcoming August 1st-5th release.
Is it a quality shirt or bulk cheap junk that’s been scribbled on?
Each release can have a variety of decoration methods applied on a high quality 4.5 oz./yd², soft 100% ring spun cotton tee. Youth and Adult crew sizes range from Youth Small to Adult 5XL and a Ladies rib cut option with a fashionably wider crew neck is available at no extra cost in Adult sizes XS-4XL.
Are these designed with AI? Can we expect originality?
Screen Prints NFK is born from a private art studio that has been in operation for 25yrs. There is a strict “No AI” policy in effect. Unless a client submits their own AI art for printing service here, everything that comes out of these doors started from scratch with one of these methods:

How are the shirts made?
Every release is embellished in a variety of ways in-house with creative notes exclusive to the shop that won’t be found anywhere else prior to availability to the public. One month it may be one color. Another month it might have metallic foil. Embroidery might be added. Now it might be 4 colors. What won’t happen is a carbon copy of a play we already ran.
Can I still get a 5XL for $15?
Unfortunately no lol, the $15 is for Youth size Small to Adult size XL. Adult size 2XL-5X will be $20. This price increase for larger sizes is the same for non-subscribers.
When will the Screen Prints NFK VA Shirt Of The Month design be released for viewing and ready to ship? What if I don’t like it?
The upcoming shirt design will be featured here on this page between the 25th-30th of each month and ships between the 1st and the 5th of the upcoming month via USPS First Class Mail. If you see a design you don’t like, you can email to have the size changed to gift it to someone else, request a past release, pause on that release and have an additional shirt credited on a future release (you’ll receive two shirts in the same or different sizes/styles), or you can cancel your subscription. There is no long term binding contract, just an opportunity to collect something cool with a loyalty discount up front. No pressure.

I just found out about this, can I still get one of the tees previously released? Can I get it in a different color? Do I get free shipping like the subscribers?
Current and prior released tees will also be available for non-subscribers starting at $20-30 depending on how it’s decorated, the same shirt that is/was available to subscribers for $15.
Some designs will have customization options available to anyone for different colorways in the online designer for full price once released.
Non-Subscribers purchasing shirt releases still ship free just like subscribers.
Subscribers please note: A release color that ships due to your active subscription status can not be changed unless you email prior to release to request the change and pay the difference totaling what non-subscribers would pay. It is a workflow thing, please understand.
